The main switch on the generator will turn on the USB ports and the LCD Display on the generator. The AC switch will turn the AC outlets on/off. However, if the Main Switch is not ON while you turn the AC switch to ON, you will not generate any power from the AC outlets. If the AC switch is in the ON position when not in use it will still draw power from the battery and drain it much faster than if it's turned OFF. That is why we supply the additional AC switch so that you can turn the AC outlets off if you won't be using them along with the USB ports. In comparison with the AC outlets, the USB ports will not draw as much power as the AC outlets when on.
The recharge time of the Nature's Generator will also be dependent on the amount of sunshine the Power Panel is receiving on any given day. Less clouds and more direct sunshine will help the charging performance. Adding additional Power Panels lessens the recharge time.
Nature's Generator can handle up to 200 watts of solar recharging power and Nature's Generator Elite can handle up to 300 watts of solar recharging power.
There is a misconception that solar panels don’t work if there is no sun. Understandable but also not correct. The cloudy days reduces the charging speed for sure, but the sun is still able to penetrate the clouds and can still provide a charge to the Nature's Generators.

So to make it more portable friendly, we've equipped it with our Heavy Duty Cart with wheels. This allows for easier movement and transportation depending where you want to take it. It also has lifting handles on both sides which provide further portability.
The Nature's Generators are designed to start displaying the output power of an item connected into either of the AC outlets if its continuous power need exceeds 100W. A similar threshold is not applicable to items connected to the USB ports.
Whenever you connect an item into either of the AC outlets on the front of the Nature's Generators, the LCD display will not read the output power of that item if its continuous power needs are 100W or less. You will also be unable to read the output power of items rated at 100W or less through the Nature's Pulse app.
This is why it is important that you know the continuous wattage consumption of whatever item you are looking to run with either of the Nature's Generators.
The first step to understand how much you can save on electric bills is to calculate how much power you use from the Nature’s Generator or Nature's Generator Elite. The Nature’s Pulse App calculates the total power you use from Nature’s Generators. The second step is to multiply that number by your local electricity rate.
The Nature's Generator are ready to use out of the box. However for ease of mobility installation of heavy duty cart is required. Please refer to the manual to learn more about how to install the cart.

Our wind turbine is designed to mount on a nominal 1.5 inch schedule 40 steel tubing or piping. The outside diameter of the tubing or piping shall be around 1.875 to 1.900 inch. Under no circumstances should plastic pipe be used to construct a tower. Tower must be capable of withstanding 160 pounds of load in the horizontal direction at the wind turbine.
We recommend that you set up the wind turbine at least 20 to 30 feet above any nearby obstructions.
Nothing else. Our Wind Turbine is a complete electrical system. After the Wind Turbine is set up, you can just connect the cable to the Nature's Generators and you are ready to go.
We recommend at least a consistent 10mph. The ideal wind would be consistent in the same direction. The gust of wind or changing direction of wind may reduce the power generation of the Wind Turbine.
We believe safety is paramount. Wind turbines can be dangerous when they are rotating, so we placed red tips on the end of each blades for caution.
The conduit is approximately 18 inches long with the clamps. It is recommended to install the power transfer kit as close to your breaker panel as possible.
The Power Transfer Kit should only be installed indoors.
Unfortunately, the transfer kits only work on 110V and it is not compatible with 220V.
When your utility power is restored, other lights and appliances on the circuits that are not connected to the Power Transfer Switch will turn on. To transfer the circuits on the generator to the utility power, flip the toggle switches back to the LINE position and shut down your Nature's Generator.
No. The circuits that are connected to the Power Transfer Switch are isolated from the utility power. There is no danger of back feeding the utility power.
Runtimes with the Power Transfer Kit are dependent on the combined loading of connected circuits and the amount of the Nature's Power Pods that are connected to the Nature's Generator. For instance, a 70W LED light will run for about 10 hours with only the Nature's Generator. That same 70W LED light will run about 27 hours with the Nature's Generator and one Power Pod. And the same 70W LED light will run about 44 hours with the Nature's Generator and two Power Pods.
Yes. If it is always powered by your Nature's Generator, please keep the toggle switch on your Power Transfer Switch to the GEN position.
No. The Power Transfer Kit cannot recharge the Nature's Generators. The Nature's Generators have to be recharged through a standard AC outlet, Power Panel or Wind Turbine.
Yes. It works with other battery powered generators or gasoline powered generators.
In order to connect the Nature's Generators to your breaker panel you will need to purchase one of the Power Transfer Kits. This will require some electrical work and we recommend the work to be done by a licensed electrician. Once the Power Transfer Kit is connected to the breaker box, you will have the option to run power directly from the Nature's Generators if power ever goes out.
If it is only a bit away from 18 inches, you may purchase another conduit to extend the length. If it is quite far away, you will have to change the wires that are pre-installed into the Power Transfer Kits to extend the length. This will require some electrical work and we recommend the work be done by a licensed electrician.

No, it will not over charge. Our Nature's Generators come with a built-in charge controller that will prevent over charging from happening.
Our Nature's Generator is designed for optimum performance with our 100 watt Nature's Generator Power Panels we sell. The other manufacturer's solar panel may or may not work, depending on the solar panel output voltage and current. If you already have the solar panel on hand and want to use it with your Nature's Generator, we recommend that you contact us for verification / confirmation.
Our Nature's Generator and Nature's Generator Power Pod is designed to handle up to 200 watts of solar charge. This will allow you to connect up two Power Panels to the generator with the required Solar Panel Cable and the MC4 Branch Connector.
Our Nature's Generator Elite and Nature's Generator Power Pod Elite is designed to handle up to 300 watts of solar charge. This will allow you to connect up to three Power Panels to the generator with the required Solar Panel Cable and the the three-way branch connector.
Yes, you can charge the Nature's Generators on a cloudy day via solar. Unfortunately, you will not get the same amount of performance as you would on a sunny day. Ultraviolet light will still reach the Earth's surface on cloudy days.
The cable that we offer to connect the Nature's Generator Power Panels to the Nature's Generators is 50 feet in length.
You may purchase the separate 50 foot Power Panel Extension Cable, so then you can increase the Power Panel cable length to 100 feet total.
The dimension of our solar panel are as follows; 40"L x 26.37" W x 1.37" H
Yes, the Nature's Generator Power Panel(s) and the Nature's Generator Wind Turbine can charge the Nature's Generator simultaneously. Our Nature's Generators have built-in charge controllers that will prevent the generators from overcharging.
We think the best for our customers! We build a whole list of accessories for the customers to use Nature's Generator in all circumstances.

We suggest to daisy chain up to 4 power lights at one time.
Yes. The heavy duty cart is universal and can be installed on Nature's Generator, Nature's Generator Elite, Nature's Generator Power Pod and Nature's Generator Power Pod Elite.
No, it's absolutely free to install and monitor your system.
The reason it can take a lengthy amount of time for the generator and phone to sync is mostly due to the amount of data stored in the generator and the time between syncing. A good practice and to reduce this issue is to sync the phone and generator on a more regular basis. We suggest doing this daily.
When signing up for an account, click the "Send SafePass Code". The button will start to count down from 60 backwards. At the same time, the email address that you entered will receive the Safe Pass Code. Enter that four digit code into the Safe Pass box on the sign up form. The four digit code will be good for 10 minutes.
Yes you can pair multiple generators through one app. To switch between generators, go to the history tab and tap on the serial number drop down in the upper right hand corner.
This is due to the fact that there is no history available for items. Once the history has had a chance to sync with the phone, that will eliminate this from showing. Sync times may vary depending on the last time the generator and phone were synced.
The app and smartkey communicate via Bluetooth.
